C4 Corvette IRS into G Body

there was someone on here that did it and yes the name escapes me..


I remember that it was a grey or black and red regal t-top...
 
I originally planned on doing it to my Monte... but then life, a wagon, and a Hellcat got in the way. Now, I am just going to buy another S60 and call it a day. 😉

Nothing about the swap is daunting other than getting it centred and squared in the chassis. Personally I would look at swapping in an IRS cradle from a 2015+ SRT model before touching the Corvette stuff.

Plus an auto C4 D35 is kinda a glass rear.

A stick D44 would be worth it but they honestly aren't cheap. I had thought about doing a cheap LS swap in a c4 before I got my 2+2 but all the stick c4's I found were 2-3X the price of auto ones. Like $1500 for a D44 rear diff if I recall.

Does the cradle have the inboard mounting points for upper and lower control arms?
