Can 200-2007 Monte Carlo seats fit in an 87?

I have an 87 LS. O understand how to make the front seats fit. My concern is what needs to be done to make the rear one fit. I have the originals and they are just wearing out. Is there a build thread on this someone can direct me to?

You have to use the outer plastic backing with intergrated locking match system of newer model mc and fit to rear metal seat/package shelf area.for bottom you will strip upolstery from newer model mc seat bottom and that from the gbody mc as well,and fit the newer cover over the gbody seat foam(take to a long cal upholster and they'd propably hook u up for lunch and or beer money😉)

tkruger, search on my user name I put in 2002 Monte SS Earnhardt seats front & back in my 85 SS. I think I included some pics. I can take some if you want. The back wasn't too bad. Added a couple of plates, and re-used the 85 SS wire seat cage and used the 2002 foam. They clip/bolt in like they should.
