Can UPS be listed as one of those "4 letter words"?

Got my exhaust kit today, but it came with a surprise game-guess what might be still on the UPS truck! I find it on the front porch with the one end totally ripped open, a tailpipe sticking out packed with mud. A serious WTF moment, called Summit before going thru it all, then going over piece by piece with the CSR. I won the game since everything was there. To my surprise after making sure everything was the, put on hold, the guy came back & gave me a 10% refund. At first I thought they were giving my $10 in Summit bucks. But its a $43.20 refund. I stll want to see the UPS guy & give him a kick in the nuts. Tis the season.

Next Day Air's always late and 9 out of 10 times I know the package is here because I hear it hit my door when he tosses it on the stoop

I use Fed Ex if i have a choice

Driving to Nebraska from Texas over Thanksgiving, I was passing a UPS truck and noticed it had special UPS plates, so I pointed it out to my wife. She gasped and pointed at the truck. Stuck in the roll up door at the top, flapping in the 75 mph breeze was someone's package, just hanging on by a corner.

I'm not sure if it matters, but living 5 minutes from the UPS worldport hub here in Louisville they have it nailed down pretty good! I worked there out of high school loading trucks. I took pride in what I did, but others didn't give two sh*ts! I guess there are bad apples everywhere. I know some of the local drivers and they are really good at their job, and take care of stuff as if it is theirs.
I've rarely had an issue, but have seen or heard of so many in other cities that have had issues!

Never had an issue with UPS. Fed Ex sucks bad.

Worked at the Des Moines UPS hub for a few days. "fill the trailer" is their only MO. Anything smaller than 12"x12" is back fill, gets tossed inbetween the rows of boxes. Anything larger gets stacked. Probably why my radiator came bent.

Last time I ordered a solid shank trailer hitch, UPS delivered an empty box with a hole in the bottom. I hoped it didn't land on somebody's toes.
