Buy a mustang and paint a bullseye on it. We've got a 2016 going through its  sixth insurance claim. None at fault, one hit and run.

Honestly people are just driving like idiots and expecting the computer nannys to correct things for them. Worst inventions ever were the adaptive braking stuff and it's ilk. People figure it's ok to pay less attention.

With that vette I'd bet there's a rise in the roadway and traction broke free going over it, then the car got squirrely when it settled down and off he shot.

Well, I'll start with the cooler temps there given the time of year, stiff suspension light weight car that is close to 50/50 bias on a short wheel base. Probably an inpatient driver that stabbed it and sent it a little too hard.

Have you driven a Corvette? Not a boomer coupe either, a Z06. Any of them. Whole different car. A C5Z06 with light work can get frisky fast.

Picked up a wreck years ago of a mid 70’s vette. Guy took out two full-size poles and a third that was turned into a mail box stand all side by side. “ Hit black ice “ and was passing someone. Up the driver’s door and caught right behind the door ripping it in half.
Guy bitched about missing tapes the next day. Had 200 ft of debris from the car.

Probably “ only had a couple wine coolers” . Guy had a death wish. Year later he was on a bike racing a buddy in a truck. He lost it a laid the bike down and his buddy came over the little hill and ran over him.
