You need to back track....
Why was the tank replaced?
Did you connect the hoses correctly
Why was hardline replaced
Is your fuel pump still operating properly.......knowing you did not burn it out.

This what I would do 1st. Your going to need a helper
Disconnect fuel line at carb and check to see it is flowing the way it should. Partially block it with your thumb to check for pressure . at the same time have someone look for leaks around car.
Not sure if you have a inline filter or its at the carb on your car.
Either way might need replaced.

Did they sell you the right type of hose? The gas line for carberator engines you shouldn't be able to pinch off with your hand easily if at all. Usually gas line is marked for carberator use. Replace your fuel filter also.

Sup guys

Thanks for all your responses and coming in army strong with your advice, experience, and knowledge.

My car got better on it's own. I think the leak threw me off. When I fixed the leak, the problem persisted.

Come to find out, I may have been running on bad gas.

I ran out of gas last night and when I filled up two Jerry cans and refilled, my car jetted off with no problems.

I filled my new tank up with gas that's been sitting out since last summer that my father in law had in his garage. He helped me install the tank. There may have dirt, condensation and water in my tank.

I burned it all out when I ran out of gas last night. Car ran like new.

Thank you guys. All really good responses.

If there was dirt in that old gas that you used,I would suggest replacing the fuel filter before it plugs up.

I'm not sure what a pick up is

But I used a 1/4th brake line in replacement of a fuel line and 1/4th rubber hoses, low pressure.

This is the smallest line from the tank's sending unit.

That's the one that was leaking and has since stopped leaking since I replaced it.
Um, am I reading this correctly; you used rubber brake line in place of rubber FUEL line?
