Hey I was wondering what's the cheapest way for me to get posi for my el camino? Can I swap a posi out of like a camaro or something with a 7.5 that has posi? I thought I read something awhile back about this but can't find the thread.

I drive it everyday I don't really want a spool if I was going to go that route I would just have one of my friends weld the rear
Can I find like an s10 or camaro that has posi in it that has 26 spline axles or would it be easier to find that goes to a 28 spline axle and I just replace mine so they are 28?
easier to find one with 26 from a g body or some earlier camaros and such, if you get a 28 spline unit you will need to buy GN axels

Count. If its 26 it has 26 splines. If its 28 it has 28. Best bet is to buy a whole rearend if you don't know how to set one up. It's not something you want to "think" you got it because 1000 mi down the road your gears will be f-ed up.
