They will require a tune.

My advice, for what its worth, is to talk to the TBI Chip guy, he already had a tune and lots of happy customers with it in service. The buddy with the LT1 Impala cam started out with the LT4/Hot Cam....too much for the TBI to work with. So, he snagged the LT1 cam. He used the stock TBI block that has all the provisions for the GM hydraulic roller set-up.

The cam is almost like the brain of the engine they used to say in the old days. To get the full benefit of the upgrade you need to tune. Your also talking a pretty old engine. You didn't make any mention of its been rebuilt or anything. With that said adding a cam, heads or anything that will increase cyclinder pressure may not be a good idea.
