You think 200 is too much for a stock 6.0 Elko ?FWIW Crown Vics and Trailblazers hover around the 200# range for rear spring rates. 500+ out back is significant. Even the Camaros we race have rears between 200-300. Mine are 225. Sounds like the El Camino got a little extra spring to try and be a truck?

In a 4th gen F body, that balance tends to fall in the 3.5-4:1 area. So for a 200# rear spring, you'd want a 650-800# front in that platform. Sways play a role in where you fall in that range.
