That must have hurt, a cage and bars can save a driver so there is no excuse for taking a chance, here is a pro late model we built while it was in the fabrication stage on the jig and the results of a high speed trip into the inside wall with some help.......and our green Kermit camaro after it was slammed into the inside wall, we had that car back on the track the following Friday nite....anyone in circle track racing knows the inside wall hits the hardest...none of our drivers were ever hurt in the cars we built and they always ran up with the pack...

Hope you have a cage tying everything together also. Things can go nuts in a hurry with that power.

We don't have a cage presently, but it's in the works says my son.

I have the TNT, now JT Racecraft, braces on mine. They fit nice. He's local to me and a good guy. Very much into G body chassis stuff.

I couldn't find them on his site either.

now do those weld on braces work with the umi brace? that ties the upper to lower control arm?

I believe they will, if not be modified to fit. Maybe Streetbu or Tdvick can pipe in here and help. I only used the top brace with mine the way I modified my frame.

I know JT does still offer the braces. He seems to produce them in batches, so he might just be between batches right now. I did try the UMI bars too and wasn't able to get them to line up correctly. I just sold them instead of grinding on them to see if I could make them fit. I'll try to let JT know people are interested in the braces.

JT said that he's making some improvements to the braces and they will be available again soon.

I don't have the braces that tie the uppers and lowers together. But I don't see why they wouldnt work together. Matter of fact Ive been contemplating getting some of those too from UMI.
