. I've done about a 70% solution on these - which will yield a 90% result for flow. That last 30% of effort will take as long as the first 70%....
Mike, that's why I chose to go with the 862 heads I pulled from a Suburban in the yard. They are essentially the same as the 706, just a different casting number. I knew the 706 heads were good for a production head - but, not this good. May have to reconsider using 241s on the 4.8L. Plus, the 1.89" valves are lighter than the 2.00"+ units which can impact valvetrain stability at high RPM.
