The final round of rust repair is taking me deeper than ever before. Karma is a b*tch. Oh well - guess I am going to do some more advanced learning.

Almost there. Almost. So close I can taste it... or that's rust dust? I dunno.

Then mechanicals! The drop spindles and ball joints have shipped.

LOL, maybe. But, stickers should be easier.
That looks like a whole lot of extra ponies, can you handle all that HP on top of what you already got?

I better get to eating.
Gotta increase the love tank, with an outfit like that the ol lady wouldn't be able to stay off of you let alone all the women you would have to beat away

So... after a day of bodywork (last patch panel is ready to be burned in) I am looking ahead to the next thing on my list: getting the exhaust out from under the car.

It is required for certification so I have to do it.

20 years ago I built a dual side exit exhaust and it looked worked great and sounded alright for 3" pipe and Dynomax Race Magnums. I still have it. But, it won't work in this application.

My options are a single pipe out the back (behind the tire or at the bumper) or... a boom tube! I've always wanted a boom tube.

I've done the math and it needs to be 8" wide x 2" high. Length will be a packaging limitation. Integrating some form of muffler would be ideal... but, I can always put one where the cat would have been.

Shame I have to cut up what I already made. This should be a fun project regardless.
