The Treadstone of choice I believe.

The word on the street, YB thread about IAT and cooler efficiency, is that Treadstone historically has a 30% off Black Friday deal. I can see it being a winter upgrade.

I have the Mishimoto. Nice unit, although I can't speak to the efficiency it's cheap on Amazon.

Get the big cam, get some quality springs, find the cheapest running motor with oil pressure possible. The sloppy long block will deliver for you. 😉

You'll need these too, I bet he'd cut you a deal....

Could just build my own:

Some 6" thick cores in there.
If you're going to spend that much and still buy tanks, then buy a Garrett. wingnutks has a SWEET IC that he welded the tanks on. The cores aren't that much.

Did your motor spit up any fluids when the noise developed?

Just oil out the valve covers.

If you mentioned that before, then I missed it. That changes my guess.

Time will tell.

Did you get all of your Political Mike paperwork submitted?

Yes, I did... and yes, I did. Evidently I am the first person in any of the three open Divisions to submit their candidacy. I thought I was running behind. Now I need to get campaigning (on top of everything else... day job, parenting, establishing a corporation, applying for other jobs, building cars, fighting a corrupt institution, 3 more day of traction on my neck this week, and so on...)

Option the third!

Spec me a good electric 1/4" chuck die grinder... and I finish the 4.8's heads in a few hours and slam it in.
