Core Support Mounting to the frame

Needing some pictures of how the front bushes go between the core support to the frame, any help would be much appreciated.
I took photo's when i pulled it apart but now cant find the pictures worse luck🤔

there's a small end and a big end.the smallest end goes through the hole in the support and a rubber cup sandwiches' it all together.the larger end rests on the frame.bolt together accordingly.

Not sure what i've messed up here but this is what ive got, pretty big gap there. Core supports bolted up etc & all's lined up well 🤔

was it lined up before you took it apart ? did you unbolt the fenders ? send pics of the fender to door gaps top and bottoms .. might be just needs a fender alignment they have a lot of shims

Figured it, seems the frames have a bit of flex in them. Jacked up under the crossmember & she lined right up, had axle stands behind the front wheels. Knew i was right just some head scratching there, worked on a lot of Holdens with the same style core support over the years but this is the first chev & all foreign territory to me. On these cars, the body and frame work together to provide the structure for the car. All about reducing weight and materials. That's why the side rails are so flimsy and benefit from boxing. The GN and GNX in particular had more body bushings.

Don't be scared to add shim (large fender washers) as needed. I've had to re-shim every core support I've removed and reinstalled. When changing old worn out body bushings it never seems to go back together they way it came apart once the fenders are removed and reinstalled.

It requires patience.
