I'd be happy with "Made in North America". The quality between USA, Mexico, and Canada is about even and I have no complaints at all. It is China that I loath buying from.

Sounds like my Challenger: Mexico built the engine, the car was assembled in Canada, and finishing touches were made in the US. One of the reasons I bought it was its connection to the world around me.

Plus, I know who to blame when crap goes wrong. ;)

I too like that my Challenger was built in Ontario. I will to check into where the Pentastar is built, thinking USA. Personally, I would rather see products built in Canada and the US, just because both countries have high standards of living, most Mexicans, not so much.

Guess they do have a fair amount of USA made (with globally sourced materials) products. Didn't know a good number of the cordless tools are on that list.

I'm not on social media, with the exception of this forum. That screenshot was sent to me by a relative that knew I would like it. Until then, I hadn't heard about it. I did Google it to cross check it before just accepting it as fact and posting it. I was in a hurry so I didn't post the links to the backup stories at that time. Everyone is a big boy and can do their own homework.

I thought the Chinese had cut way back on steel imports a couple of years back due to the decreased demand for products made of same?
