What are you using for an engine computer? Holley or stock GM?
If you use a Holley just buy a DBC. Honestly the hassle of tuning with HPtuners isn't worth it for a one off build like your doing. Unless you have a ton of time to learn and have a very open mind with software, can find time with Carl at TCP in St. Paul to tune your car with HPT, or want to gamble with me to tune it (not that I am asking to, lol) HPT is tough. If you already have a harness and ECM from a part-out I MIGHT go HPT, but if you don't have a harness at all just go Holley TermX. Holley is simple enough to learn and if you want to pay someone to Dyno tune Steven K in Rochester is the local dude.
You essentially have to run a DBW if you use the stock L92 style computer. Holley or other aftermarket gives you the flexibility.
I was planning to use the Term Xmax. I did not have alot of time and would prefer less hassles. Thanks for the info.
