Decent Oil leak

Did you clean the old oil off?

You don't really want to run 2 solid mounts on an Olds unless you have a motor plate. Stock rubbers and a torque limiter (drivers side head to frame) or driver solid mount and passenger rubber mount. 2 solids will stress the block too much.

I haven't got underneath it to wipe everything off after finding the leak. That will be tomorrows job. My uncle keeps telling me to chain it down or use solid mounts. but I can't believe that mount didn't last 2 months. probly even less since I've been working on it more than actually driving it......

So you would chain it down or go towards the rev limiter? Happen to have a part number for the rev limiter
