Just sucks seeing it parked on nice days. But now I can start cleaning up under the hood. Eliminate all the wire harnesses that was used for the 307. Reroute vac lines or plug them and organize the plug wires.

There are always things to do. 😀

That is the vacuum pod to the heater control cutoff valve. It appears to be the older original style they used up through 1985 I believe. You need to find out if the broken hose is still connected to a vacuum source and if it is, plug it if you have no intention on using the valve.

Found a picture of the one I have for the 85 compared to the all brass unit. TBH, I think the later all brass ones are probably better. Plastic doesn't make a ton of sense where it is located.

Got the gaskets today. They are awesome. They stayed right in place and was so easy to put on compared to the bullshit rubber ones that don't keep their shape. Will have to drive a bit and see what happens. Anybody know what solid metal motor mounts i can use? I just had these rubber ones put on but I noticed it broke already....only lasted like 2 months of driving....

After 20 minutes of driving I seen 3 spots, each the size of a dime. So I think the covers were the main issue. Was a few drops about to fall off the pan...so that's the next thing to look at.
