LMAO
When I read "got the vectors mounted", I immediately thought about the little spikes on the roof that the Mitsu Evos have, and thought "why the fvck would he do that????" Then, I realized you meant the wheels....

That's not too shabby. I feel bad since I had all that stuff you need laying around last year and basically gave it away.

WTF a buttless diesel???
View attachment 111902

I literally only found my script valve covers since I opened the hood to see if it was actually a diesel, well it had a heater delete (who ordered it that way!?!) with hydroboost and a 350 8 head olds gas swapped in place. I'll take those valve covers thank you !

Things that make me miss Iowa....all the cool/useful old stuff in yards

Things that make me NOT miss Iowa.....all the rotten cool/useful old stuff in yards

Converter is a stock 305 low stall D9 stall that I got when I bought my 2004R from the salvage yard for my cutlass half a dozen years ago. I bought a GN D5 converter for the cutlass and had this sitting around and since this trans came out of my 2+2 and was missing the converter when I got it, I threw it in.

The brakes just really suck on this car and I gotta do something on the fronts. I have a blazer spindle set sitting around.

I found a fuel rail for $40 so I'll have to order that and swap it over.

I am almost of the opinion that the car is what I want now, I could throw another $600 into the trans and make it faster, but I have the 2+2 and that runs 11's so even if this wagon ends up running low 13's, Its still trying to race a slower car that's less built. The trans shifts fine at normal duty, I think i'll get the AC set up, change the brakes and master cylinder, and call it.

I am with you on that idea. Why does it need to be fast? I think it is perfect the way it is. Drive the crap out of it and don't look back!

So I did have a plugged #4 injector. Swapped those out and it runs better but still has a miss. I thought crap, I pinched a ring or bent a rod when I filled the cylinder full of fuel.

Checked all the spark plugs, they looked good. Swapped #2 and #4 just to be safe
Stuck my propane torch down the #4 plug and tried to burn any fuel off since it did smell of fuel when I pulled the plug
Pulled the injectors again, no leaks or stuck open
Checked compression, 120-135 everywhere
Pulled valve cover on the passenger side and it all looks normal
Good oil pressure
Starts awesome
Coil packs all ohm out like they should

The #4 cylinder does burn cold, all other 5 are about 550-600 F after 30-45 seconds, #4 is at 350-400. Its 150-200 degrees colder.

Any idea what is going on?
