I've been thinking about "NOT for sale" signs.

Told one guy that was besterring me "everything has a price" .... OK I'll bounce .... "think of a number that seems insanely over-priced .... add another 0 behind it, then we can talk."

another "you HAVE to sell me this car" .... "do you see any signs :😛ointing at every window:: that say 'for sale'?" he started to get really ignorant - that is till I openned the door and put a foot on the ground .... as fast as that guy runs - he certainly doesn't need a car.

Living around St Louis and having owned 3 Cutlass .... this comes up ALOT!

yea not to get all racial but 99% of the people that want to buy my car are black
i get the occasional older white guy
i saw an old grandma driving a beautiful cutlass the other day
it haad to be an 83 or 84 supreme
it was ridiculously clean looked like it had never seen weather and i just thought to myself
i wonder how many bricks she has in her purse
cause if i was an old lady and some black guy walked up to me
like some have walked up to me before
id probably start swinging
but ive had to occasional sketchy looking guy asking too many questions
thats when i start making up excuses as to why i have to go
or i tell em it has a $700 security system in it
i have never had a hot girl come up to me and tell me i have a nice car
the day that happens is the day i fall in love

Im black and what you said is totally correct, black people see themselves owning my car and putting rediculously big wheels on it, (i could tell because his 4 door malibu had 20's.which barely fit) i think retrofitting a custom suspension just to put 24's 26's 28's or 30's on these cars is a serious waste of a good vehicle. like the people who put 22's on Firebirds or Camaros. its the black people (im ashamed to say) and some white that ruin these cars for coming generations. also women HATE these cars with a passion. just something about them. (my girlfriend thinks my car is more important to me than her)
i love when people try to buy my car when were at a red light. i smoke my tires, cover their car in smoke and roll out 🙂

You guys are lucky, with my 4dr bu, I just get offers from woodchucks who want to turn my car into a Demolition Derby car, then there's the guys who want to cut it up for a dirt tracker, and the ones who want it for parts for their 2 door!

I have thought it would be kind of neat to be able to put the rear window down. I am an air condition hater, so the more windows I can have down the better. The only times I wish I had A/C is when it's like 90* and raining.

Rear door windows on all 4dr and wagon G body' cars are stationary. I get that question from other 4dr G body owners mostly, lol.

It happens on the street and even online to a point where it is unsettling, many preventative measures have to be taken... :evil:
I've contemplated never selling to anyone on a forum again or just up and leaving the online community as a whole because of it... but I can't let them win.
So now I have to be careful of who I do buisness with or even associate with, kinda sucks but today's society is becoming more and more filled with nafarious characters...you can usually pick them out by their communication skills or lack thereof.
