Nevermind i see where u said it was black before.

the original color was black w/ the gold stripes. it was painted the dark polo green met. when i got it. I'm told the original owner painted... wish i knew why, but definately was a wise decision.

Will be cleaning up the engine bay and doing some upgrades here in a month or so. I'll post pics up as i go.

Def post pics cuz this is by far my fav one on this site

Thats one badass monte ! keep up the good work. Did installing those engine bay bars make a noticeable difference?

Hard to tell, I know some will claim thay they are useless, but the way I see it, GM added these braces for a reason (the fender to core and the fire wall to core). I never pushed it hard enough thru say a auto cross track to determin if it helped or not. It definately wasn;t as noticable as when I lowered the car or added the F-body sway bar (which I see I never posted pics yet) but for the $5 it cost me at the local yard, i didn't deem it as a complete waste. If nothing else, i think they look cool. 😀

The other Montes in the garage are those your other toys?

No, but I wish.....

The white ss is one of my friends and the blue one in the garage is his sons that he built on his own. The ls is my other friends
