Ok a couple months back I bought a Monte drivers door for 75 bucks. I want to install it now and I need new hinges. New ones are really pricey and I can't afford them right now. I was wondering what cars I can take them from at the junkyard? Also will a four door gbody hinge work on my Monte? I know I would probably have to swap hinge springs.any help would be greatly appreciated ty.

Why not just rebuild the ones you have? You could either buy the pins and bushings from your local GM dealer, or go to your parts store Help aisle. Unless of course the hinges are too worn or elongated.
You can pickup the spring compressor tool cheap from Harbor Freight.

Used is used. I have rebuilt several and they are as good as new. I have even welded up an elongated hole and redrilled.

My sentiments exactly. I have also rebuilt several sets. Like new and better than used. I suppose if the hinges are too worn, they can also be reamed and use oversize bushings...or welded and re-drilled as Mark indicated.

I have tried rebuilding the door hinges on the drivers side already. Did not work door still sags allot. i'm assuming I had done it wrong. The door hinge pin holes where really elongated. I put the new brass pin guides in put the new pin and the brass guides would spin in the hole. I'm I supposed to weld in the holes and drill them again?

Yes that will work. I rebuilt my El Camino hinges last year, The drivers side was real bad I welded it up and redrilled it to the proper size for the replacement bushings. They are like new now.(just be careful that you don't drill the new hole too big)

I would go that rout but i have no welder and don't know how to weld . I think im going to try the junkyard tomorrow and see what i find . funny thing is the passenger side is perfect just the drivers side is totally wore out .
