On a side note an interesting thing set me back on putting the front suspension back together. I had dropped my control arms off to have the new bushings/lower ball joints pressed in at the local shop, well they had been there for about two weeks so i decided to go in and see what the progress was on them. Well to my suprise they informed me that they dont do control arms because there press would crush the arm if they tried. So my reply was why has my stuff been sitting down here for two weeks then putting my project on hold? I didnt get much of an answer but after he apologized several times i cant really be mad over it. They are a good shop and always do good work i just found it odd that they let them sit there that long without calling me. So now i will take them to another shop and wait for them to get done, after that ill get them all painted up and installed on the car

Got the steering box done, took the front brake lines off to clean them. Getting close to doing some reassembly

So i have my black olds up for sale and realized i just couldnt sell it, the grey car in the picture above is the car that this build has been centered around and besides the nice paint and racing stripes its just no where near as solid a car as my black 87 olds (it has no rust whatsoever) So whats a person to do??? Thats right yank everything off of it and sell it instead. So everything pictured in the build so far will not go to waste, im pulling all my new stuff and swaping it straight over to my black olds and this build will continue as planned. The sbc however will go into my wagon and the black olds will get the 455 400th trans and 8.5 rear. So how does that sound to you guys?
