don't use 80 grit man!!! 220 for primer and 320-400 for your base. If you use 80 grit your base and clear will sink like a b*st*rd in a few days after you paint. It can also wrinkle if you burn through to far and then your having fun!!!
I've been painting for around 12 years now. I swear I've seen everything that can go wrong with a paint job but some days, my apprentice surprises even me LOL. We even gave him the nick name "wrinkle" but it's ok, he gets the 80's k-cars to practice on 🙂
Paint problems usually can be traced back to not enough drying time for whatever your doing in the end.
