You must be a member of congress ! , Thats one heck of a retaining wall you have there ! I hope you have something figured out for drainage , standing water is the killer of all retaining walls , if it doesnt push them out it creates voids and causes them to sink and become unstable over time

Yup. If you look at the last batch of pics you can see the black drainage mat. There's some of that perforated flexible drainage pipe under that that goes out each direction.

Took a break from my brother's '36 and ran into town to meet a guy. Bought an NOS air cleaner because the one on my bike has a rust pucker starting to form. Since those never heal themselves, I snagged this for later. Turns out the seller was the liquidator for Indian when they closed the factory in 2003. He has 2 trailers full of other parts. It's good to know a guy.

Grab everything you can.

Indians are beautiful bikes

But the "click" people are *ssh*les and only sell to people they know who are also in the "click"

I'd love to buy lots of it. The air cleaner was surprisingly reasonable but prices he quoted me on other stuff was kinda steep. Like, $100 for a factory service manual that is about 3/8" thick. He's supposed to get back to me on a couple items he thinks he has but needs to look for.
Luckily, a lot of the stuff on these early Gilroys isn't proprietary. I do have a short list of specific spares I want to put on the shelf though. Plan to keep this bike for a long time.

Just snagged a Coats tire balancer for cheap. Pics when I get it home.
Time to break ground on the 40' x 60' shop!
