Listed the b*st*rd Scrambler last night. Ad within a thread since there's no Non-G classifieds...

I'm not even going to down play this. Rolling up on this bike produces only two reactions. Guys want to be you and chicks wanna be with you. It devours mountain trails and liquefies the asphalt on back roads. Statistically, you probably aren't up to the task, but if you are in the small percentage that thinks they can hang, here's the rundown;
1983 GL650 stripped for business. It's basically a hypothalamus and a n*tsack. If you like knobby tires, air suspension, vintage looks, and freedom...the bases are covered.
It's had some recent service and maintenance work along with a newish battery so you'll never walk home alone. Sportster pipes summon the "ladies" and the V-twin vibrates for their pleasure (yeah, tripple plural). It's got a saddle bag just big enough for a box of Trojans, a flask, and your little black book. Lights and mirrors should keep you legal, but don't be shocked if "the man" wants a closer look. I gave it a camo finish ( hey, no one needs THIS much attention) but it's Plastidip so you can change it up without much effort if your hood has different scenery.
Bottom line? I'm an old man and my heart isn't up to it any more. My wife doesn't want to explain to her friends that I died from getting too laid.

If you read this far you probably know you either have what it takes or you don't. Alphas only need apply.
$1850. Cash is king.
Someone admired Brucie in gta4.... :ROFLMAO:

Oooof!
My first real road bike was a Twisted Twin......
Been lusting for another and now, here YOU post up that thing:love:
Must look away

Just looked up where you are.
With towns named "Dickshooter" and Wickahoney" in your County, I can see why your ad reads the way it does:ROFLMAO:.
Still lusting over your bike, you may have to go out and wipe the drool off of it..
Makes my pants tight.....

Haha, now I'm at the swap meet with not much else to sell. Might as well buy.

Well, another cold, rainy one on the books.

I sold some stuff that my dad sent down and some stuff for my brother. Very little of my own. Sure glad the bike sold on the way down or I'd have been pretty disappointed.
On Saturday we used a wider tarp so the left side had a wall. Luckily there was almost no wind. Packed everything up and pushed the trailer through the gate a little after 3. Dropped Jerod and his kid off in Pendleton at 8 and my head hit the pillow at 12:30 potato time.

Not to go home empty handed, my purchases were kind of random. I bought an old metal Homak toolbox for $5 to bolt to my trailer tongue that I'll keep straps and a lug wrench in. I bought a small jack for a buck to put in there as well. Found a pair of decent El Camino doors for $20 each. Coincidentally they were about the same color as mine. If I ever paint it I'll swap this driver's door. Hope I never need the passenger.

Last purchase was these 3 Indians. A lady was trying to sell about a dozen of these Franklin Mint bikes and just had a 'make offer' tag. I beat around the bush until she said 25 a piece. I countered with 3/$60 and she jumped on it. Maybe I should have bought the whole lot.

Next year I'll probably just be a spectator. Really don't have much at this point to sell to be worth the trip.

They were a total impulse buy. I don't collect any of that stuff but know what they cost. The detail is pretty impressive.

It's gross. I hate it there. Seems worse every time I go back. That town needs a plague. Or an earthquake. Or fire.
