First car was an 87 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Was blue with a white pinstripe and all the chrome as well as a full vinyl blue top. I have never seen one with a factory full roof top since.... bought it from a buddy and I was 3rd owner. Kept the car a couple years until the timing chain let go and trashed the motor. Had no where to work on it or store it so had to let her go. Other than the motor.. was mint as far as interior (blue 60/40 bench with pillow tops) and body went. Several years went by and was able to buy it back for $500. The guy i sold it too never took care of it. Busted the drivers glass and instead of changing just the glass, he put a mis-matched regal door on it. He put in a used 350 rocket that was knocking when i bought it back. Then he started parting out the interior before I could buy the car back. Made me sick when i got it home and started finding so many missing parts and then to find that the floor pans, trunk pan, and frame were all starting to rot from not washing the salt off it. Started running the figures and was gonna cost way more than ever worth to fix it all so i sold it again not thinking about wanting to save her. Been looking ever since for it because I've kicked myself for not trying to save it. This is one of the only pictures I have of her.
What a beautiful car! That's truly a shame he never took care of it. The full Vinyl top is highly unusual on those! Wish you could have found it again :( thanks for sharing!!

Had a 84 GN with factory moon roof
Car was bad floors rear frame rails gone interior wasn't toast but savable
Engine was good bad trans and it had a 7.5 rear end. Ended up parting it out and making my money back. Then years later found out it was 1 of 3,000 made but less cause it had a moon roof

Oh wow, yeah the 84 is rare and with the factory moon roof, EXTRA rare, not too many of them around now :(

I can't say much, but i still have my g body, my first car. On it's 3rd engine, 4th Th350 (craigslist $50 transmissions :p), and 2nd rear end, 3rd front bumper. 98,8xx miles now, 84,*** when I got it in 2014. I've contemplated about selling it and almost sold it a few times. Everytime I published the ad, I couldn't bring myself to sell it. I had it and my '70 thunderbird on Cl at the same time. Whichever car sold I was gonna use the cash to fix the other. Had the regal as a roller for $1500+ a 99% complete SBB and TH350, and my tbird with a bent pushrod and top end dissasembled for $1000. Sold the t bird, and got a call about the regal a day later as I was taking the ad down. I really miss that t bird, but it was a pile. I've never seen another one like it in real life before or since. I've seen a '67, but not the "bunkie bird" style 70/71.
