For a Michigan car that thing is in good condition. I like the burgandy exterior.
Are you sure it is an 1981 model? I see it has the 200-4R frame mount which means 84' or newer. Also I think that burgandy was offered beginning in 86' ?
Thanks...title and Vin# say 81...cowl tag is gone and no sticker on trunk which started in 84"

Not sure.. probably 4 inches...it's my kids car...probably won't paint it this year and not interested in messing with the body

If you cannot be bothered to measure it, you might as well just get stock replacement parts. Because there is no way you are fitting those without modifying the fender lips if you want it even slightly lowered.

Good luck.

Both sets already fit.Not interested in lowering it.Just want shock and spring suggestions from people that already replaced theirs.

Original...have a lot of paperwork with the car from the dealer and service receipts with the same vin on it from the 80's

You have a lot of receipts with a VIN on them but maybe not the same car.

Just saying I hate for someone to put there heart and sole into a car and then poof the state takes it away.

i have seen it happen many times and no they don't give it back.
