Don’t believe that solid main web 403 crap they have listed their but the rest of the list looks pretty good

Well here's an update. The block has 395558 "2" on it. The driver's side cylinder head has an "8" on the front corner. It has the 10 bolt valve covers with the "Oldsmobile" script stamped on them. The original paint is gold which tells me it's pre '75. It has HEI, but that may have been retro-fitted.

So, a 68-70 350. Allegedly, a "high nickel" block. I don't buy into that theory, but it's a good foundation, nonetheless. Get an offset ground 330 crank, SBC rods, flexplate/flywheel, and light pistons, bend over, and kiss your *ss "Good bye" with a 7000rpm screamer!:friday:
