Northern Pike, we figure around 30 pounds!WOWSERS!!! Muskie? Northern Pike? Fabulous!!
When I go fishing with my son and his kids I am happy to come home with no fish. Grandkids used to be confused by the wrong bait that I used but I think they figured it out. I don't like fishing but it's fun spending time with them....🙂
Sure, you're okay with it; you know you are. Gramps needs a new rig!Took a trip to the north woods (down south for you canadiaites) this last week. Landed a ton of panfish which kept the kids into it and had a chance to snag some nice LMs and walleyes too. Mini me caught a 16” bass that grandpa netted for him - I don’t know which one of them was hooting louder. I’ll never forget it!

We call my lil man G, but gramps was laying it on thick to try and help him. We’re about an hour from the St Croix factory so I was getting pressure just to go buy some new stuff. There are usually some very good deals on what they call B and C stock rods (30-90% off retail). We went and I managed to get out only buying a sweatshirt this year....Sure, you're okay with it; you know you are. Gramps needs a new rig!
No problem, supposedly 8 above freezing tomorrow. We had our hottest Summer in years. What the hell changed is beyond me.I really need this summer weather to change. The water is still in the mid 70's and the fish are over-fed and fussy. Howsabout you Canadians sending some of that coolth down our way?
