I will. Thanks. Got a olds 350 full pan girdle, mech roller cam, 330 crank, h beam rods, forged pistons, #7 heads wit bbo ports and valves with victor intake. Think I'm gonna run E85 and around a 400shot nitrous. 15" slicks should help me stick to the track but we'll see. After I finish the build I may do a full write up. Or if I get time I'll keep updating something here online somewhere.

For anyone that was following, it's done. My advice, don't do it alone like I had to. But it's tight and right!!

I was considering doing this years ago on my Monte so I am curious to see how the rest of the car fits around that, make sure you take a lot of pictures during this process and keep posting. Thanks

Well I can tell you the back seat is not an option. The trunk hinge is also not going to work if you build like me. I am gonna run a 32x15 tire and want it to sit low so my tubs are gonna be really high in the trunk. A custom bumper mount and mount to pick up the rear 2 body mounting points is no big deal. Aluminum floor should look really nice but there will be minimal room for anything trunk wise. I'll post lots of pics as I go. Anyone know how to start a build thread? Or do I just keep this going?

Go to the build thread section and then hit the blue button 'post new thread'. The moderators could move this to the build thread section or you could just keep going. It would also be at home in the "Racing/Track/Heavy Mods" section.

Now I see the "build thread" Idk how I missed that. :blam: But I did. When I get some time at work I'll get one started or this moved. I have lots of pics so far. I'm doing engine and chassis, and hope to have it all done by spring... Thanks everyone!

Are you going to mount a fuel cell on the trunk floor or below it?

I'll be going with a fuel cell in the trunk. I'm going to mount the aluminum to the bottom of the new rails so I can get an extra 3" of clearance and build a "pocket" for it to sit in.

This will be interesting to watch since I have seen tubbed Gbodies but never the whole process to get them there.
