How much $ do you have in the swap with everything?

DSC01211.jpg

-motor is a 1968 knucklehead 205 (lbs)
-alcohol (beer) injected
-Super-loud exhaust!!!
-all emissions equiptment removed
-o-rings leak a little, but runs fine otherwise
-tends to overheat if I use any fuel under 9% alc/vol

Hey, what kind of mounts did you use to get that knucklehead in there? I've heard it was possible but never seen it done before and I thought my big block was a tight fit.

I used polyurethane sandals and bolted them to the x-member

The first time around:
Engine 2004 lm4 5.3l (all aluminum) $950 shipped 75k
transmission 2000 4l60e $650 75k
Front accessories including starter $200
Fuel system $300
Mounts and headers $150
Ecu/wiring harness/ new o2 sensors $1200
Gauges $70
Maf $20
I did have some freebees like the exhaust tubing, mufflers, oil pan which I cut and rewelded, oil/ filter.
Of course my latest ls swap should come in at about only $1000

That's very nicely done (except for the shop rags, J/K I know they keep things neat and clean).
That car must run like a Banshee with a 455. 8)
