I've had 3 rear ends in my car one of them was out of an older El-Camino which also had 1/2" studs!

The wheel studs will also be standard 1/2" vs. metric M12-1.5 not as big a deal as the rear end width though.

I think you mean 7/16" not 1/2"
Ummm NO I meant 1/2" see page 2, most older large GM's were 1/2" studs not 7/16" :wtf:

gee, how did I ever make that mistake, the versions before and after the 74 version used 7/16" wheel studs. Now did I call you an idiot or something to make you so angry?

I am not angry, but if you are going to "quote" someone and point them out as being incorrect and inferior to your so called knowledge, then you better get your facts straight before you do so pal! I've dealt with you before, and i've seen you argue to the worlds end with many other members on here, and i don't like how you think you know it all and are constantly correcting peoples mistakes or whatever. How do you like it know??? Not so fun is it! Can't admit when you are wrong huh???

I admit as often as I am wrong. If you can understand English I said "I think". I feel sorry for you being so insecure. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Since you said you "think" shouldn't you have looked it up first before calling someone out who was right??? And there was no need to "quote" me as I was the previous post. A simple apology would have been fine, not your wise *ss response of "gee, how did I ever make that mistake" not you are right I apologize! Nope i've never seen you apologize or admit you were ever wrong. And I can speak english obviously, I live here in America not Canada eh? Know I know how you are and you will respond with yet another wise *ss remark which I will ignore so this is the last response I will send you.

Didn't all U.S. vehicles with 5x5 bolt patterns come with 1/2" studs and 81 and earlier with 5x4.75 bolt pattern come with 7/16" studs and the 82 and later with 5x4.75 bolt patter would be 12mm x 1.5?
