Hey all, new here to the G Body forum, here’s my 78 Monte C that was passed down and along to me. She’s in for a complete overhaul over the next few years. Little bit (what I know) on the car. Was my stepdads from the 80’s til his death in 2020. I grew up in the backseat of this car. This car has the 3.3L that was recently rebuilt less then 6 months before his passing. I just got this car over the winter and during the first few nice spring months, I got her running under her own power with a little bit of Cosby sauce in a can, fresh gas new battery alternator belt and tires.

So the plans with this car are as follows replace all the rubber chrome everything suspension wise will be replaced within the next year or two I’m just gonna try to keep this car running until the current motor blows up when that happens then it’s gonna be time to spend the five grand on a 350 crate motor and drop it in to the Shell I do not keep it out of the rain I don’t really have a garage to work on it I try as best as I can to keep it clean though it’s got some rust underneath I’m from Ohio so it’s kind of hard to keep it sheltered we do have a three-way pole barn but I’m not really in a position right now to hide it out for the winter. I plan on modernizing it some, double din radio, 16 in tires and newer rearend and transmission
