Welcome. Good solid looking start. I love the old original patina on these cars.

Remember to just do a bit at a time as time and wallet allows. You'll get there.

So the plans with this car are as follows replace all the rubber chrome everything suspension wise will be replaced within the next year or two I’m just gonna try to keep this car running until the current motor blows up when that happens then it’s gonna be time to spend the five grand on a 350 crate motor and drop it in to the Shell I do not keep it out of the rain I don’t really have a garage to work on it I try as best as I can to keep it clean though it’s got some rust underneath I’m from Ohio so it’s kind of hard to keep it sheltered we do have a three-way pole barn but I’m not really in a position right now to hide it out for the winter. I plan on modernizing it some, double din radio, 16 in tires
I've bought 2 of these covers over 3 years. I'm very pleased with them. I don't have a garage either.

Sorry guys today was my makeup anniversary dinner since my anniversary was 4/20, You can follow my adventures on TikTok as well @aguyinarustyvan or 78MonteC . Im really trying to do this like something I woulda done for him if he was still alive, Some more things I plan to do is get the frame rail situation figured out I found the weld in rear frame rails on various sites, Since it’s been in ohio it’s whole life it’s pretty holey. Nothing too bad that can’t be fixed. I’m only 27 so I got a while and patience. I have Access to a shop, lift and tools, welder im a machinist by trade but I’m more intrested in cars lol. My uncles a mechanic by trade. We have discussed replacing all the bushings and going polyurethane. Found kits for around 400? I believe? I kinda plan on riding the 3.3 out till she can’t run no more. This thing is all original still. But the wife and I are deciding on interior colors. The interior is pretty much shot. Front seats need redone, new headliner, dash board, my wife wants to go grey, like a primer color. Me I will be happy with anything out of a donor (black) Some body work definitely needs done. Like I said a single din or double din. Leaving the crank windows. New 4x10 speakers all around, eventually when the 350 goes in I’ll go and maybe put a 12” American bass subwoofer in the trunk (im also into car audio) Maybe some underglows. Idk I’m just dreaming lol. I’m not going for wheelies. Just a burnout machine that looks original on the outside and like brand new on the inside. Just a hot rod.

Here’s some more photos I found. Photo of the dash shoes you how bad it is

Welcome, looks like you have some good plans for it. Before dropping the big bucks on a new crate, might consider some other options. The dashs are notorious for that, I like both the grey and black options. That was my original plan but decided to stick with the blue interior, I went a little too crazy with trying to modernize my car
