My wife was tangled up in this when we got married, We wound up with a ton of one hit wonders from the 70's and 80'sView attachment 86494

My wife was, too, when we first started dating.

Before she got out, I picked the last few for her. The crap she would pick was awful.

My dad put an AM-FM 8 Track CB in his 4 dr Malibu in 1979. The Who's "Tommy", the 2 Boston Albums and the "Star Wars" soundtrack where his "go to" 8 Tracks.

Welcome to the dark side! 👍 This was the first old vacuum tube set that got me into this hobby. 1963 10-tube Airline stereo. Something's still loose in the FM section (have to slap it around) and the 33/45/78 turntable works if you give it a push. Currently my office stereo with a Bluetooth receiver on the tape inputs. Have a bunch of 33s and 78s but had to put them away when the cat decided to use the cover spines as a scratching post. 😡😡😡

That's pretty cool, Chris.
I notice that it has the cylindrical adapter for loading multiple 45's and the plastic adapter for single 45's.. That takes me back to my youth when my dad had one of those old consoles with built in turntable and a big speaker below...I think it was a 12". My brother blew the speaker out hooking his bass up to it.
