I have recently done this exact swap. The Torsen differential will drop right in, the bearings are the same. Two things are different. The ends of the axles have to be machined down to 5 mm from the inner edge of the C-clip groove. I had a local ship take them down for $30 for the pair. You could also grind for a while and get there yourself. If you happen to have the Camaro axle shaft, use that as a check so you don't go too far. The second thing is that the 8.5 C-clip is bigger in inside diameter. You can either open up the 7.5 ID to the 8.5 ID with a Dremel stone bit or buy replacement 8.5 C-clips in the Help! section of the parts store and grind down the outside diameter until it fits into the Torsen. I went this route. I have not driven on it yet. Moser makes new GN axles for $240 a pair, or you can reach out to the Forum and find a decent used pair. I needed only one to replace a boogered bearing surface, but found a single useable used one from another Forum member.
