Glad that I could help. On a stock power bench seat car, the seat switch mounts right in the end of the seat facing the door. There must be some kind of mounting panel or reinforcement that's part of the seat. Is there any way to check on the vehicle that you got the parts from?

I am going to try to look at the seat i pulled the track from.. Hopefully it has the factory "looking" part i need .. I didn't think of pulling parts off the seat though..

Man that dash color combo is awsomme!! What color paints did you use?

Thanks Dean!! I used SEM GMC Graphite vinyl 17113 for the dashboard, Rustoleum flat black paint for the dash beze which was fully sanded down and woodgrain removed, The silver around the black guage pods is chrome silver from dupli color, and i detailed the word "LIGHTS" my Revell model car paint set aluminum i believe.. the chrome trim around the dash bezel and the headlight portion is the original chrome of the bezel. I pulled apart the vents and sprayed the surrounds the chrome silver and the fake plastic allen bolts were replaced with real chrome plated allen head bolts.. I still need to finely detail it though. I repaired a junkyard bezel to use for the project.

UPDATE: Went to the salvage yard on Friday with my fellow "local" GP afficianado..My boy Dru! we found a few gbody's and took some parts off of them and continued shopping. We came across this burned out 98 late model Fbody Camaro. Dru needed some brackets from the rear diff and i started looking it over, it had a Ls1 5.7 in which i "assumed" was an auto. Looked underneath and lo and behold it had a T56 trans!! Man i had to think it over but i ended pulling it... It seems to have survived unscathed except for the charred harness and vent tube. The clutch seems to be in good shape as well as the flywheel. I drained the trans fluid looks fresh! Now am going to get it rebuilt and gone through later. Total damage was 206.00 bucks!! T56 swap or should i stick with my built 4l65E? I'm gonna be needing buckets soon..

Donor: i took more but they didn't save onmy phone except this one...
