I hate building delays especially when the contractor just won't talk and keep you updated on things. So frustrating.

I'm really not too wound up yet. I've been out of town for most of the last 10 days and will be gone again later this week. I'd prefer to be around as they move forward but sometimes timing can't be helped. It sure would be nice to be in by the end of the month though.

Obviously they didn't show up like they said because, why would they? I called the guy Friday afternoon and got a lame excuse about having trouble getting insulation out of Boise...blah blah blah...virus. Yes, the same insulation he needed a check for 6 weeks ago. But he thinks they'll be able to wrap it tomorrow.
Anyway, all that got done was concrete cutting. So now I have 12 slabs instead of 1.

Contractors always have an excuse. When they want to get paid, work suddenly gets done.
