This is 6-lug, just a half ton. But it is Z71 so it has the heavier rearend and limited slip.

Strange, I'm not sure I've seen a 6 lug pickup with factory flares. But Z71 is Bilstein shocks and skid plates, both of which could be had without Z71. F44 gives you the 9.5" rear and heavier leaf pack

I really like this project. I'm entirely unfamiliar with the minitruck world. I'd have never thought to put Corvette wheels on it but they look great.
Young grasshopper you need to have Doc & Marty to stop by with the Delorean & take a few trips back to the late '80's & early '90's to see them in their prime. Things that were done to & with them were something.

Bed dancing competitions were insane.

Here's a link I found real quick for those who are unfamiliar.

I just barely missed the minitruck peak. Mostly just remember seeing them around with friends' older brothers. Those guys were just broke teenagers themselves, so nothing really cool.

I started crossing off items on my pre-ORBDR punchlist.

RaceTech emulators installed up front.

Replaced the stock rear shock and HD spring with a Bradley HD Touring unit.

While the rear wheel was off, I replaced the wasted sprocket, tossed on a new tire, and fresh brake shoes.

I've still got more to do, but it's a lot closer.

There's a couple of old Dorsetts on Ebay right now that are trying to motivate me. I'll try to clear the deck for next winter's project.

I'll see if I can recruit my dad to pitch in. He's always looking for a project.

It belongs to an acquaintance and I'm not sure what all is on the agenda. He was plumbing brakes last week.

I was just joking about him helping me on a Dorsett restoration in the above post and last time I was over there he asked about it. Coincidence?

Supervenza got an oil change and brakes yesterday. Don't laugh at my Fast and Furious rotors. I've already put 20k on this thing since February. It still eventually needs a transmission.

When I built my shop I had it stubbed out for an eventual bathroom. Not sure when I'll ever finish that, but I finally plumbed enough to set up a washer and dryer for my daughter. She bought this last year during a labor day sale. That's how long it took me to get to it.

I finally got the white bike wrapped up. Swapped out the front springs for something softer. I messed with the front rack for better full-lock clearance too.

Today I did a shakedown run with a local riding buddy. We did just under 150 miles of mixed riding. We had lunch in Jordan Valley and doubled back through Silver City. We even discovered another cemetery we didn't know was out there. Newest headstone was dated 1918.

Both bikes ran perfect and nobody got hurt. It was a good day.

That seems like the sorta thing a guy might keep to himself.
