Great video sir!!

Just before bed I recovered my rear side panels. I cut out new boards, cut new thin foam, and upholstered them with the extra material I got when I ordered my seat covers. These rear lower plastic panels were destroyed by the sun. After my sand blaster, putty, blocking, aerosol bed liner, light sanding with 320, and final interior paint, they look OK. I'm planning on installing all the rear interior panels, all seat belts, and back seat tomorrow. I may tackle the passengers side bucket seat too. My totes are nearly empty which means this car is almost finished.

I washed my rear seat belts last night so they'd be dry today. The material is shiny but the black cover was worn. Red scotch brited those. After an hour I got them looking fresh again. On the slide buckle, I polished the chrome with 0000 steel wool lightly.

I plan on buying the full covering sound deadener panels like was original but have to wait. I had a few leftover scraps of Dynamat so I put them on for the muffler heat. My dual mufflers will be back in that area.

Tedious work getting everything to fit. I mocked up the later model G body B pillar covers before I painted the car. I drilled new holes so they would fit easier which they did. I also had to pie cut the inside flange about mid way up where the B pillar slants backward.Problem was, the lower arm rest panels were too long not allowing the B pillar covers to meet up to the body. I had to trim the lower arm rest panels at the front about 1/2". Then the B pillar cover slid up to the body. I polished the heads on the new stainless oval head screws before attaching everything. Seat sure is comfy but I doubt I'd ever get my wife back there with me

I got the passengers bucket seat completely stripped apart and the pans, brackets, and hinges blasted and painted. I have everything laying in my living room floor to assemble. I also brought in my drivers side bucket seat. Going to take it back apart and stuff batting in the sides to make it more tight. The covers are just too big

FRICKIN' RAIN 😡 I got up a 6AM to get started. Good thing is, I can work on my seats in the house. I may go to the upholstery supply for trunk carpet so I don't waste a sunny day running errands

Agreed, it looks like it needs to driven up to "Make Out Point" and "broken in".
