Bar50 got my trans repaired and back together already. I don't remember if I mentioned in this build thread, he GAVE me a NOS headlight switch knob for the Salon. The guy is awesome and YES I might be brown nosing just a little bit 😉

Me and Bar50 got the trans installed and I let him drive it. Sadly the clicking or clacking sound is still there but only in 2nd gear. It is very loud. We are both baffled. He went to talk to a guy about it. I'm a bit depressed but I'm going to stay positive

That's a bummer, hopefully you guys will get it figured out.

We removed it and he took it. He's got a part that he thinks will fix it

As if my week could not get any better. I had the salon on 4 ramps. I took out the front ramps and let it down slow. It took off down the ramps backwards right into the El Camino. Geeez, I give up 😡

ouch ! Every once in a while the hot rod gods need a sacrifice. On the bright side its not the painted front bumper or someone elses car. I will raise a glass of whiskey tonight as an offering.

How did the elco take the bump
