Looking good on the seats.

Did you try steaming the old foam?

It will bring it back to life and fill the seat covers correctly.

Heat/steam is good for the fabric, not so good for the foam. Too much heat drys out and disintegrates the foam. Just a word of caution. ;)

So here is the passengers side bottom after gluing two layers of 1/2" sew foam on the bolsters. I only did one layer in the center. I stuffed batting in the very front corners. It looks waaaay better than my drivers front seat that I did not add foam to. It feels more firm sitting in it compared to the drivers side too.

Maybe cut and shape some of that plastic cardboard to help take the shape on the sides? The stuff they make political signs with. Heat up the vinyl to help take its correct shape?

While in between body filler drying on my bumper, I started one of my trunk ideas. I've not seen it done with a GM logo before and thought it would be cool. I cut strips of project board and taped them together for my shape. Transferred that to paneling and cut it out. I wanted it closer to the temporary spare. I bought a few yards of stretchy black carpet to upholster the trunk. I will do another board on the top hump and glue the carpet in as one big piece. I also plan on cutting another board for a back seat filler wall. It will have an Olds rocket emblem in the middle cut out of the same board and glued on. So basically a raised GM logo and rocket emblem in the trunk panels.

And here's the GM logo since this was the only style letters I could get locally.

I built a curved extension for the front corner of the spare. It gave it more detail. It has a rolled edge being wrapped and looks cleaner than a factory mat. The pile is a bit more plush too which I like. I used a thick paint stick from Lowes for 5 gallon buckets on the lower bar under GM logo

:mad:Son of a gun!!! I got the bodywork done and wiped down the rear bumper. I got out my Z Chrome and opened the can to stir it. It got dark as hell and started thundering. By the time I picked up my crap, it started raining
