I am on schedule for getting gold on bumpers tomorrow. I sprayed the orange on the upper section of the repaired rear bumper today. Got my hood hinges and bolts painted too. Tomorrow is gold day as long as it doesn't rain. Also going to buff the hood tomorrow. Later tonight I'm going to assemble the front seats. I got all the pieces painted/prepped and ready for assembly today as well. I made a new list of to do's and it's tid bit stuff. Sunday afternoon may be the maiden voyage on the highway

Any chance a lawn mower might be to blame for the lense? I'd hate to think someone would do that on purpose.

Who knows. I always have the garage door closed when I mow so it doesn't get dirty. I've been surfing ebay and there is no RH lens on there. Looks like 4 door sedans won't work either because mine screw on.

I had a buddy come and help me hang the rear bumper. I got it marked for the stripe lines and we pulled it back off. I just put my last coat of gold base on both bumpers. Going to let it sit for about 30 minutes and bust out the clear. Hopefully, I'll be hanging them tomorrow morning. It's killing me to see the two toned bumpers hung on the car and the lower air dam on. I will be posting those pics tomorrow. As soon as they are cleared, I'm starting on sanding/buffing the hood. I got the drivers seat put together and installed in the car. It is way more plush now with the extra foam. Going to assemble the passengers seat tonight after dinner

It's so hot outside the paint is kicking fast but I'm DONE with the bumpers. I will sand and buff them on the car next week. I followed some of the bumper lines to give it some detail instead of having just straight lines going to nothing.

Glorious! You might call the Smithsonian and inquire if they have an indoor parking place for the Salon.

I got the hood wet sanded and shut down for the night. I am sore from sanding the sh*t out this hood. Going to check it for touch up sanding in the morning then I'll buff it. I got the hood hinges mounted and put on the hood spring. I also lubed the hood latch so it doesn't hang up. Should have the hood buffed and the bumpers mounted by 1-2 PM. I can't wait to see my vision come to life
