The pic above makes the steel fuel line look like its bent by hand. Took a couple pics to show that I did use a bender. Nevermind the ugly plugs in the intake water ports. I bought a black flush mount allen plug for the one on the drivers side. I bought a stainless heater hose fitting for the passengers side.

View attachment 52249 Did some small detail painting last night and used some 3M brushed aluminum vinyl to wrap my B-pillar covers. I used a silver paint pen last year on the Dealership badge but it was very blotchy and looked like crap. I sanded it with 800 to smooth it back out. I folded a paper towel tightly in a square and used Testors model enamel silver and put it on the towel. I then wiped one direction. I had to do it twice but a day apart so the silver was nice and dry. It's the small details that make a restoration pop.
Much agreed, the devil is in the details for sure to set a resto apart! Can't wait to see the salon finished....never seen one here in KY so it's cool to see you putting the effort in to bring it back to it's glory!

Got a lot of smalls Z Chromed. The deck lid had a little bubble showing. After grinding and sand blasting the area, I had to replace a 2" section. Hopefully have it ready for Z Chrome tomorrow
