The engine and crankshaft is at a machine shop. A couple journals were on the low end of spec. I told him to turn it. I want it right. The bad part is, no one around to help me load the block. I got it in the bed of the El Camino but my back is flared up again. Had a guy eyeballing the El Camino at the machine shop. I threw a price out and he said he knows where one is for $1200 in better shape. I told him he better buy it because I have $700 in my interior, $300 Demon carb, $400 in tires, and my ac works. Gotta love some people. Lol. He said he builds cars a lot. I said so do I. Showed him a few pics of my Salon and 55 build progress and he walked away. Guess it was a who's got a bigger dick thing. Lol.

me thinks it was the pics of the salon....who the **** else has one or should i say is building one as niCE as yours is coming along!!! im gonna have to put on my #32 griffin on and come see you with my game face and "trades"🙂

I just dented my door damn it. I was walking by and clipped the door mirror with my hip. It put a small crease under the mirror on the door. I'm freakin sick over it

My 78 sat in a barn sence 86 stacked with crap! It needs paint but I'm practicing my pdr skills on it because there only original once eventually I'll paint it but for now it's starting to look better and I figured it will save me time later. I hope all goes well for you that's really a good looking car

Picking up my block and crank tomorrow. I ordered some stuff from Summit but forgot my main bearings. Might try to get them from O'Reilley.

Bummer... My garage is narrow and I run into my mirrors all the time trying to sneak between the car and shelves...
If you're like me, you'll smack it again from the other direction eventually and it'll cancel itself out lol
