Yep. Starts fine with em off. Leave em on (such as in a drive thru) and if I shut the car off it lags bad and almost wont turn over sometimes. Turn the lights off it pops right off. I know I need new headlights, one has water in it, 2 are original. Could that be the issue?

Battery is a year old. All grounds are clean and accounted for. Negative cable is new, positive is not.

I know for a fact the positive cable is structurally sound, it's just old. I've been meaning to replace it but I want to keep it side post and aftermarket side post cables fit like sh*t at the battery. Bolts too short, rubber too thick, etc.

I have seen factory cables that appear to be "structurally sound" but end up being all corroded on the inside, I am betting a new positive cable will fix the issue but still replace your fishbowl headlights.
