Has anybody converted their headlights over to Celebrity/Caprice one piece units?

I was checking out some of the older threads and there were a few where people were converting over to the one piece headlights. I would love to do something with mine (83 EC) as it is a little googly-eyed after a run-in with a deer.

Of the threads that I found, a lot of them were old enough that the pictures didn't work anymore or were geared more towards the urethane noses on the Monte SS.

Is anybody here currently running that setup or had any experience with it?

I know RKTPWRD did the composite headlight swap on his '80 Cutlass Calais aka "The Juggernaut". To make it look factory, he spent ALOT of time modifying the header panel so that the swap looked like a true OEM option.

Subscribed simply because the Monte has these lights and if you need to replace them........well good luck finding them.

Personally, I would like to swap in an E36 BMW headlight. mainly because they are a lot easier to find, I have seen it done in an 82-92 Camaro but never a G-body.

I personally made those headlights for a few years, they look cool but not sure if they would fit in with the look of the EC. They would probably look good with a MC though.
