I would like to buy a new pair of door sill plates. I am just curious how the reproductions compare to the original GM ones. Anyone have any experience with them?

I don't remember where I got mine , but they were identical to the originals and fit perfectly on my El Camino.
I bought new ones a couple of years ago for my Regal and they are nice and they were the finishing touch for my all new interior.

Hate to bring up an old thread but how are the reproductions different than the originals ? I ran over one of the plates for my coupe and need a replacement.
Mine were identical in every way except when the sun was out my originals didn't blind me with the reflection.
I ended up buying the G body parts reproductions off Ebay. They look great. Same problem as above is that they will blind you with bling. The screws they come with were not correct so I used nice originals
