yea this isn't the full fiberglass one from the old honest charlies. I wish it was.
I’m right now installing a Choo Choo nose, the headlights in mine mount to the nose in a fiberglass housing not the rad support.
I sure don’t know all the differences, Honest Charley’s and JP Autoparts mount to the nose. I don’t know about Lauren (RIP) Stay away from the JP nose, it wasn’t even an eighth of an inch thick, they didn’t have you reuse your altered bumper, directions said to rivet the headlight housings in place. It sure didn’t seem like it would last many 60 MPR drives. It took 2 months to get my refund. Not to sidetrack, but what was the differences in the aftermarket noses?
Some mount to the nose? You and Roger have mounts on the core?
Just curious. Thought it might help someone else down the road.
I guess they made revisions over the years. I like the newer way, I can install the complete headlight assembly after painting. With the nose on the car . Check with Honest Charley’s, salesman John Sullivan , he may have a solution to your problem .Mine is an original 1983 Choo Choo so it's a very early one. I assume it was done the same way thru '87 but don't know that.
