I'd like to change out my headlight to LED. Has anyone done this and if so, where did you purchase the headlights? Also, what kind of LED headlights did you purchase? Did they have a halo or not?
Thanks,
LN

There are several guys on here that have done an LED conversion. Are you looking for just 4x6 sealed-beam replacements, or Euro-style lamps? There are a bunch of 4x6 LED lights out there. I know JW Speaker lights are made in the U.S.A. Most of the others come from China. https://www.jwspeaker.com/products/categories/headlights/

If you're looking for Halo-style lights, I found these on Digi-Tails: https://digi-tails.com/redline-lumtronix-6x4-inch-white-halo-headlight-four-pack
They also make some cool sequential taillights for El Caminos/Wagons: https://digi-tails.com/1982-87-el-camino-led-tail-light-panels-wled-reverse

I had been considering those type bulbs; do you have them? How long do they last?
Yes, I have three sets as a matter of fact. I've had them on a couple of my cars for at least two years, maybe three. I'm very pleased with them. You will be too.

CaliWagon83,

I don't know what type I want other than better lighting than stock headlights. my search has just begun. I see the halo on line but I'm not sold on them yet. I'd like to hear from anyone who's installed them and what were the results.

Thanks for all the information
LN

The LED head lights I recommended are very bright, no comparison to original equipment hologens. You can search, but you'll only pay more -- a lot more.
